The Annual SHOEBOX RIDE hosted by the Corinth Friends Meeting is Saturday September 12 starting and ending at the Somerton Friends Meeting on Quaker Drive in Suffolk.  registration starts at 9am with the ride departing at 10:30am and returning by noon.  Cost is $20 per rider, passengers $5 and a special for female riders - $10. The costs include the ride, lunch and door prize entry. Shoebox Ride t-shirts are for sale $10 and there will be aprons and skull caps for sale and silent auction items to bid on. Lunch is from Linwood's BBQ with sandwiches and all the fixings. Play some cornhole and see if you won some of the door prizes. All proceeds benefit Operation Christmas Child and Samaritans Purse.
