The new car show will provide you a look at some of the best vehicles local Suffolk dealerships have to offer.
The stage will be filled with live music with the Fuzz Band kicking off at 11:00 a.m. and the Michael Clark Band at 2:30 p.m. Lipton Tea and Buffalo Wild Wings will sponsor contests for adults. Washington Street will host a Children's Area featuring bounce houses, a rock wall, fun crafts, face painting, amusements and more. Costume characters will stroll throughout the site during the day and a petting zoo will be at the Obici-Oderzo Fountain area, located beside the Godwin Courts Building, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Looking for that perfect greenery for your home? The Suffolk Master Gardener's Plant Sale will be held at this year's Taste of Suffolk. Merchant vendors will be onsite featuring everything from home improvement items to handmade fabric pieces to decorative items. There are plenty of free parking lots surrounding the event site: Cherry Street, Saratoga Street, First Baptist Church, Godwin Courts Building, and the Prentis Street parking lot. Roads will be blocked for the festival beginning at 6 a.m. Taste of Suffolk is produced by Suffolk Parks & Recreation and sponsored by the Suffolk Economic Development Authority, Lipton, Navy Federal Credit Union and Towne Bank.
