The Rawls Museum Arts will be hosting a series of classes for children from ages 6 to 10. This event will take place on Thursday, January 23rd from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. The event helps children to learn artistic skills and techniques by experimenting to make projects. Sessions will include snacks, juice and materials for the children. Each child must be registered by the Tuesday before the event. The cost for the event is $10 for RMA members and $15 for non-members. “Spectacular Snow Globes” will be the first project. This will include the child drawing and painting a snow globe and creating a chilly scene inside of the snow globe. Next month will be a creating Candy Kiss Miss and One-of-a-Kind Valentine’s on February, 6th and making Dancing Kachinas along with a culture lesson on the Hopi Indians on February, 20th.
