You are invited to the 18th Annual Cheroenhaka (Nottoway) Indian Inter-Tribal “Corn Harvest Dance” Powwow and School Day at Cattashowrock Town on Friday-Sunday, November 13-15. The "Celebration of the Corn Harvest Dance" School Day will take place Friday, November 13th 9AM-3PM and the Powwow Saturday-Sunday, November 14-15th from 10 AM to Sunset. Don't miss the "Grand Entry" at 12 Noon. Bring the whole family and enjoy the Drums, Native American Indian Dancers in full Native Regalia and the history of Cattashowrock Town Palisade Village as narrated by Chief Red Hawk, and of course the food and drink, Fish and Chips, Corn on the Cob, and Indian Taco and Fry-bread, – face painting for the Children. The Ethno-historic presentation on the Palisade Village will take place at 3 PM. There will be Native American Arts and Craft Vendors on site with a host of crafts and Native American Jewelry for sale. Cattashowrock Town is off Old Bridge Road, in Courtland, Virginia 23837.
