NOW - SUN FEB 26
Boy Scout Pack 17 and Troop 17, chartered by High Street United Methodist Church, is taking on a new service project this year. They are "filling the trailer" for the Shriners'. The Boy Scouts are trying to fill the troop trailer with items that are on the Greenville Shriners Hospital's needs list. Greenville Shriners Hospital in South Carolina is the hospital that services Western Tidewater and currently there are several local children going to this hospital. It does not cost the family anything - The Shriners pay for the treatment, transportation & lodging through dontations and fundraisers. The Boy Scouts will be collecting up until 02/26/17 for this project, but donations can be given at anytime since there are people traveling there al the time. They will have boxes at State Farm Agent Bryan Fenters office, 204 Stewart Dr in Franklin, Floor to Ceiling in Franklin, High Street United Methodist Church on Camp Parkway in Franklin, Franklin Baptist Church on High St in Franklin and Nottoway House Furniture in Courtland.
The Boy Scouts of Troop 17 will be personally making the delivery on a weekend Scout trip.
