Trooper Hill Toy Ride

Event Details:

The 11th Annual Trooper Hill Toy Ride is Saturday, October 28th leaving from the FOP Lodge on Main Street in Courtland. Registration starts at 9:30am and roll out is at 10:30am. Registration is $15 for riders and passengers are $10. Please bring a new unwrapped toy.  All proceeds go to the purchase of new toys for needy children. The ride will run through Courtland, Surry and back to Fred's Restaurant in Franklin where a lunch buffet will be served for all participants. There is also a 50-50 raffle and other door prizes.  Rain or shine we will ride.

The Smithfield Farmers Market is open every Saturday morning from 9am - 12pm, with Holiday markets running from 9am-1pm. It is held in the parking lot of Bank of Southern Virginia at 115 Main Street, Smithfield. The Carrollton Farmers Market is held every Wednesday afternoon from 3pm-6pm, with a special Carrollton Christmas Market planned for November 30th, 10am - 4pm. It is held in the parking lot of Old Point National Bank, off HWY 17 in Carrollton.
