Bring a photo, take a photo in the historic district, or select one from those available at the class. Welcome to the Smithfield & Carrollton's Farmers Market. Our markets are dedicated to being genuine homegrown, homemade, and handcrafted farmers markets. Our vendors are local farmers, ranchers, home cooks, crafters, artisans and craftsmen within 100 miles of Smithfield, VA. Our Smithfield Farmers Market kicks off April 6th this year and runs every Saturday morning from 9am - 12pm, with Holiday markets running from 9am-1pm. It is held in the parking lot of Bank of Southside Virginia's at 115 Main Street, Smithfield, VA. The Carrollton Farmers Market kicks off May 1st this year and runs every Wednesday afternoon from 3pm-6pm, with a special Carrollton Christmas Market planned for November 30th, 10am - 4pm. It is held in the parking lot of Old Point National Bank, off HWY 17 in Carrollton, VA.

The Downtown Franklin Farmers Market is located next to the Train Depot/Visitor Center at 210 S. Main Street, Franklin. The Market is open two days a week, Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM and Wednesdays for a specialty market from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The Downtown Franklin Farmers Market provides the local and surrounding communities with access to locally grown fruits and vegetables along with specialty items such as honey, jams, homemade soaps, locally raised meats and eggs, and much more.
