The Great Dismal Swamp National Wildlife Refuge is the best place to be "swamped." Suffolk Visitor Center's eco-adventures include the Great Dismal Swamp Narrated Bus Tour and Washington Ditch Boardwalk Nature Walks, both popular tours that traditionally sell out quickly. The Narrated Bus Tour is a four-hour guided tour through the Refuge to the overlook at Lake Drummond. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors 60+, military and children 12 and under. Learn about the flora, fauna and history that abound at the Washington Ditch Boardwalk during the 90-minute- long Nature Walks of Washington Ditch. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors 60+, military and children 12 and under. All tours require advance reservations and depart from the Suffolk Visitor Center located at 524 North Main Street. For tour reservations, call the Suffolk Visitor Center at 757.514.4130 or 866.SEE.SUFK toll free. You may also visit online at www.Suffolk-Fun.com.
